I am not the sharpest tool in the shed as most who talk with my wife will attest. But some things do not make sense to me:

• Abortion activists who are against the death penalty
• The belief that minorities cannot be racist
• No one blames the knife in a stabbing but blames the gun in a shooting
• People that fertilize their lawn then complain they have to cut it
• The nation must use Obamacare yet Congressional and Senatorial staffs will get 75% subsidies to help defray the costs
• Major League Baseball bans players 50 to 100 games for cheating but bans Pete Rose for life for gambling
• You can’t rent a power tool without a photo ID but can vote without one
• Golf
• How politicians lack self-awareness
• Public school nurses can dispense condoms and abortion advice without parental consent but cannot give students an aspirin without a parent present
• The ACLU in Oklahoma is suing to have a monument of the 10 Commandments removed because a Baptist minister is “highly offended but has not said anything about the racial undertones in the murder of the white Australian jogger
• Why competitive reality series seem compelled to highlight participants with a tragic back-story
• Congress legislating a person’s right to personal choice.  It is my prerogative whether to wear a seatbelt however silly that choice may be
• The way lawyers pervert the law to give criminals more rights than the victims
• The Justice Department remains mum on the IRS scandals but has time to sue Texas over voter ID laws
